Vishal Shah is the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Northern Rangelands Trust. Before his appointment, Vishal

served as the Chief Executive Officer of Mashinani Works, a subsidiary of NRT. He brings to NRT over 25 years of diverse

experience, including entrepreneurship and leadership roles at Fortune 500 companies in the USA, along with the last nine

(9) years at Mashinani Works. Vishal Shah made significant progress in his previous role by launching and expanding

innovative programs and businesses such as Ujuzi Manyattani, Ufugaji Bora Mashinani, the Rangelands SACCO, Bead

WORKS, and ecosystem tourism development in the Northern Kenya landscape. Vishal holds an MBA from the Wharton

Business School.
